Roametra (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, used, stored, and protected when you use Roametra.

1. Information Roametra Uses

Roametra may access the following information only when necessary to provide its activity-tracking features:

Location Information

With your permission, Roametra may access your device’s precise location while you record a walking, running, cycling, or hiking activity.

Location information may be used to:

Record your activity route
Calculate distance, pace, and speed
Display your route on a map
Provide activity progress and history

Roametra does not use your location for advertising, user profiling, or tracking across other apps or websites.

Activity Information

The App may generate and store information related to your recorded activities, including:

Activity type
Route
Distance
Duration
Pace
Speed
Date and time
Activity history

This information is used only to provide the features requested by you.

Device Permissions

Roametra may request access to device features such as Location Services. You may grant or deny these permissions through your device settings.

Some activity-tracking features may not work correctly if the required permissions are disabled.

2. Local Data Storage

Your activity records and related information are stored locally on your device.

Roametra does not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a server that receives or stores your activity history or location routes.

Your information remains under your control on your device unless you choose to export or share it through features provided by your operating system.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Roametra does not collect or request:

Your name
Your phone number
Your home address
Your account password
Your contacts
Your photos or videos
Your financial or payment information
Advertising identifiers
Data used to track you across apps or websites

If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message. This information will be used only to respond to your request.

4. Data Sharing

Roametra does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not share your location, routes, or activity records with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Information may be disclosed only when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

5. Third-Party Services

Roametra does not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking services.

Maps or location-related functions may rely on services provided by Apple and your device’s operating system. The processing of information by Apple is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and device settings.

When you choose to share or export information using system sharing features, the selected third-party application or service may process that information under its own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your activity information remains on your device until you delete individual records, clear the App’s data, or uninstall Roametra.

Because we do not store your activity data on our servers, we generally cannot access, recover, or remotely delete information stored on your device.

You can stop location access at any time through:

Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Roametra

Disabling location access may prevent route-recording features from working properly.

7. Data Security

We use the privacy and security protections provided by iOS to help safeguard locally stored information.

However, no device, storage method, or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

8. Children’s Privacy

Roametra is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not require an account and does not transmit activity information to our servers, we do not knowingly maintain personal information belonging to children.

Parents or guardians who believe that a child has contacted us or provided information by email may contact us using the address below.

9. International Users

Roametra may be used in different countries and regions. Your locally stored activity data remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it.

Your use of the App may also be subject to the privacy and data-protection laws applicable in your country or region.

10. Your Privacy Choices

You can control your information by:

Granting or denying location permission
Changing location access through iOS Settings
Deleting individual activity records
Removing all locally stored data by uninstalling the App
Choosing whether to export or share an activity

Roametra does not use your information for cross-app tracking.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Roametra’s features, privacy practices, or legal requirements change.

The updated version will include a revised “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
